Learn about Keith’s career as a sports journalist
Like so many young people, Keith grew up watching football on TV with his dad – but with one key difference. They’d view the match with the volume down so that Keith could hone his commentary skills!
Fast forward a few years; Keith is now one of the country’s most recognisable football journalists. After graduating from Edinburgh Napier University in 1999, he started his career as a newspaper journalist. Keith covered lower league football matches as he worked for the Scottish Sun on a freelance basis.
But Keith’s career really took off once he got in front of the camera. Prior to becoming a broadcast sports reporter at Sky Sports, Keith did a similar role with STV News. He’s also served as a pitch side reporter for ESPN and a voiceover artist at SFL TV.
