About Cracking Cryptography
Cracking Cryptography is aimed at P5 to S3 pupils. And we can deliver it to the whole class.
Introduce your class to cryptography. Encryption is built into every digital product you use. But have you thought about what it is and how it works? This virtual session will teach your pupils the basics of cryptography.
Put your pupils’ problem solving skills to the test. To crack our codes, pattern recognition and problem solving are key. Cracking Cryptography will call on young people’s current skills while helping them develop new ones. It's perfect for P5 to S3 pupils.
Create curiosity about cyber security careers. After the session, you may have the next generation of computer whizzes on your hands. Good news – our advisers will introduce cyber careers and next steps for anyone who wants to find out more.
We had very little idea what cryptography was before taking part. It was interesting to learn more about the jobs that are available using these skills, and also to talk about the range of skills the children used during the session.Secondary school teacher
